GUILD RULES


Applications and trial period

- To be able to join Dark Reflection your main character has to be lvl 80.
- Applicants have to be at least 18 years old (exception can be made if he/she is mature for his/her age) as Dark Reflection is a mature guild.
- All applications must be done in the appliation part of the forum using our application form.
- Initiates have a 3 week trial period and in that time they should spend as much time as possible interacting with the guild - grouping with members, attending events/raids, being active in guild chat etc. However, if an initiate has proven worthy of earning member status before those 3 weeks have passed he/she might get an early promotion. This also applies the other way round and we might prolongue the trial period if the officers and CLs feel its needed. If we don't think an initiate is suited for Dark Reflection after the 3 week trial, he/she will be removed from the guild. The 3 weeks trial is active time and not calendar time, e.g. an initiate can't go afk for 2 weeks during the trial time and expect to get promoted. Initiates are not entitled to raid loot or guild bank items. Asking for a promotion is allowed, nagging is not.
- Players who have left the guild and wants to rejoin will also have to do an application and will be treated as any other applicant/initiate.
- Making an application to Dark Reflection is equivalent with agreeing with our guild rules.
- Feel free to answer to applications when you have something useful to add to the application. However, we would also like to ask not to answer to an application if you have nothing to say or if it's not positive. If a current member of Dark Reflection has some kind of a problem with an application, talk to an officer about it.
- Applying to another guild while being in Dark Reflection will result in an immediate guildkick.


General rules

- Dark Reflection is a PVE guild. We therefore expect players to come accordingly specced and geared to raids.
- Players get accepted to the guild with a specific spec. A player is not allowed to change mainspec unless officers approves the respec.
- A player is not allowed to change mains unless it's been approved by officers.
- Spamming and profanities are not allowed in gchat and raidchat. That also applies to healing/damage meters.
- As we are an english speaking guild, any other language than english is prohibited in gchat and raidchat.
- We expect the members of Dark Reflection to log onto the forum on a regular basis to keep themselves up to date.
- Complaints about other players in the guild should always be directed to officers or CLs, to keep the drama to a minimum level.
- Shouting on vent is prohibited. If this occurs the member will get banned from vent.
- If a player won't be logging on or can't attend raid for an extended period of time, they have to write a post on the away part of our forum. If a player is afk and does not post on the forum, it might result with a demotion and eventually with a guildkick.
- Dark Reflection is a mature guild, so we expect mature posts. Childish and unnecessary posts will be removed from the forum by moderators.
- Ninja looting is not allowed. If we hear rumours of one of our members ninja looting this will be investigated and might result in a guildkick if it proves right.
- Members who give the guild a bad reputation will be dealt with.
- Guildbank: Initials, non-raiders and alts are not entitled to guildbank items. If a member needs anything from the guildbank contact our GL, officers or Cls. Guildbank items are sold for half of the current AH price.


-Respect the Class Leaders, Officers and the Guild Leader. They've gotten their rank for a reason; they've earned it. They are here to help you and guide you through this game as a representative of Dark Reflection, so if a player has any questions, direct them to these players. Listen to them and make note of their forum posts and suggestions.


Never forget that you carry the Guild's Name above your head at all times, conduct yourself in a manner which will earn respect from your fellow players, not contempt. Be proud of being in Dark Reflection. Be polite, both to Guildies and fellow travellers.

And don't forget - WoW is a game. Lets have fun, create moderate amounts of mayhem, and drink more beer! And don't forget to add KOBOOLD! on your application after answered "yes I have read the guildrules".
